Flipkart will open its pan-India “Greatest Of All Time” (GOAT) sale starting July 12, offering major discounts across several product categories. Mobile devices, televisions, electronics, home appliances, fitness products, and fashion goods are part of the markdown lineup.
Among the most anticipated offers is the iPhone 16, which will see a significant price drop. Originally priced at Rs 79,999, the smartphone will be available for Rs 59,999 during the event, reflecting a markdown of Rs 20,000. The iPhone 16 is being offered in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Unlike Amazon’s sale limited to Prime members, Flipkart's event is accessible to all shoppers. However, Flipkart Plus users will benefit from early access starting at 12 AM IST on July 11.
The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel, delivering 2556x1179 resolution at 460 ppi. The refresh rate remains at 60Hz. Internally, the device is powered by the A18 chip, which comprises a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine, tailored for Apple Intelligence processing.
The phone integrates 8GB RAM and offers storage in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants. On the rear, it includes a dual-lens system: a 48MP main sensor with f/1.6 aperture and sensor-shift stabilization, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens at f/2.2. These lenses are vertically aligned, enabling spatial video capture. The 12MP front camera supports f/1.9 aperture.
Additional features include an Action Button—now expanded beyond Pro models—and a dedicated Camera Control button. Connectivity options cover 5G support and enhanced photo/video tools.
The Flipkart GOAT sale is part of the company’s push to boost mid-year sales and attract tech shoppers ahead of upcoming flagship smartphone launches.
